This Community Fund donation will provide support for DRSS’s  STEMmersion program. In STEMmersion, students are immersed in STEM by taking courses that foster a love of learning and a deeper understanding of content. Examples of past STEMmersion courses range from learning how to build smartphone apps to building satellite dishes.

Barge Waggoner’s office in Ohio has been an active participant at the Dayton Regional STEM School. Opportunities have included presentations on the engineering profession and job shadowing.

The BWSC Community Fund was established by the employees at Barge Waggoner to assist in carrying out the company’s inherent spirit of giving back to the communities where they live and work.
