Each year, the DRSS chapter of the Dayton Junior Council on World Affairs competes against schools across the Dayton area.
This year we are thrilled to announce that STEM students Tess Greene, Tyler Lutz, Zach Marker and David Sills placed 1st this year! The team will be heading off to Washington D.C. to compete in the National JCOWA Quiz Bowl on April 25th to compete against teams from schools across the country.

We are also extremely pleased to
announce that other teams from STEM's JCOWA chapter (collectively
known as JAWS COMET) did extremely well too. JAWS COMET had four teams in
the top three spots (two teams tied for 2nd place) and six teams in the top
ten. There were 65 teams competing from ten schools at the event.

our STEM students, check out the following video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aou5LXKzJj8
Great job JAWS COMET!
